Prior to 1948 Brookhaven Funeral Home was Perkins Funeral Home, which was owned by the Perkins family. The business was located over Perkins Hardware in downtown Brookhaven. In 1948 several Brookhaven businessmen purchased the funeral home and changed the name to Brookhaven Funeral Home, and moved to 230 N. Jackson St. A new chapter in the history of Brookhaven Funeral Home began in December of 2006, when an additional location was added. This new building is located at 894 Natchez Dr. By having two locations, we can better serve the families of Brookhaven and the surrounding communities. Brookhaven Funeral Home remains a Mississippi family owned funeral home and we strive to provide the highest quality service and merchandise available at the most affordable price.
