Mrs. Yvonne Kimble Britt of Wesson, MS passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at KDMC in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Hazlehurst, MS on February 28, 1940, to James Wiley Kimble and Louise Newell Kimble.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She worked as an operations manager at various manufacturing locations in her career. She loved her garden, quilting, watching her children and grandchildren play sports. Mrs. Britt also loved her little dog, Daisey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Louise Kimble; her husband Jimmy Eugene Britt of 61 years; her son Alton Wade Britt; and her brother Jimmy Kimble.
Survivors are her children, James Edward Britt and wife Sheila, Kimberly Britt Wallace and her husband Jamie, and Janet Britt Smith and husband Gary; grandchildren, Chris Britt (Sharee), Brandi Smith (Layke), Haley Britt, Shelly Price, CJ Britt (Shelby), Ryan Wallace (Oliva), Brittany Burch (Brandon), Brock Wallace, Gaden Smith (Leah), Emily Britt (JD), and Julie Bairfield (Conner), Ashley Strieff (Michael), Patrick Smith (Brittany), Wendy Howell (Shane); Great-grandchildren, Shelbie, Max, and Viviane Britt, Tyler Pack and Scylar Smith, Riley Price, Mollie Britt, Watsyn Wallace, Gatlin and Briggs Burch, Brody and Garrett Smith, Owen and Tucker Britt, Mark and Alyssa Strieff, Jaxen Howell, Cambry and Brayden Smith; brothers, Wayne Kimble (Alma) and Herbert Kimble (Bobbie); and a very dear friend, Henrietta Weisinger.
The family would like to offer a thank you to Hospice Compassus, including Heather, Jessica, and Yolonda, and to Deaconess Hospice, including Sarah-Allison and Elizabeth.
