Funeral services for Mr. Willie Ray McLendon will be held on Saturday January 20th 2024 at Stronghope Baptist Church in Wesson, MS. Visitation is 11am to 1pm. Funeral service at 1pm with burial to follow in the Stronghope Baptist Church cemetery.

Mr. Willie Ray McLendon, 89 of Hazlehurst, MS, passed away on January 13th 2024. He was born on December 12th, 1934 in Hazlehurst, MS to Willie and Lillian McLendon. He was a member of Stronghope Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a tool and die maker at Royal Maid in Hazlehurst. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, his time in the Navy, and most of all his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Felicia McLendon Hart, and by his sister, Betty Morgan.

Survivors include his wife, Hazle McLendon, his son, Gene McLendon, grandchildren Corey and Jordan Gemelli, Brock and Ashleigh McLendon, and his great grandchildren Aria and Aiden Gemelli.
