Funeral services for Mr. Willie L. Freeman will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, with a visitation taking place at the funeral home on Monday evening, November 24, from 5 PM to 8 PM. Graveside services will follow the funeral in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (Wesson, MS).

Mr. Freeman, 90, formerly of Wesson, MS, passed away on November 8, 2025 at his home in Prairieville, Louisiana. He was born in Brookhaven, MS on July 25, 1935 to Felix and Marie Bowman Freeman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn Goza Freeman; two grandsons, Daniel Freeman and Dustin Freeman; two brothers, Donald Freeman and O.C. Freeman; and two sisters, Dorthy Izard and Earline Freeman.

Survivors include his sons, Rodney Freeman and Randy Freeman; grandchildren, Damion Freeman, Kayla Freeman, Kathryn Freeman Miller, Charlie Freeman, Amber Freeman, Tiffany Freeman, and Stephanie Freeman Pare; caretaker and deeply loved great-grandchildren, Gavin Conerly; numerous other great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
