Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Fauver will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Benji Pyeatt and Bro. David Fortenberry will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, May 19, 2018, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Fauver, 101, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 5, 1916 in Lincoln County, MS, to Hiram W. Dixon and Ada Wactor Dixon. She enjoyed her family and fishing. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Fauver was a member of Gum Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Hiram and Ada Dixon; husband Versie Fauver; grandson, Mitchell Fauver; brothers Roy Dixon, Claude Dixon, Ransom Dixon and Clois Dixon; sisters, Harriet Ballard, Lillie Moak, Evelyn Ballard, A. D. Rushing.

Survivors are her daughter, Fannie McGrew; sons, Donald Fauver and Calvin Fauver and wife Cindy, all of Gum Grove Community; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
