William Andrew Thurgood, Jr (Andy) passed on January 8, 2024.

He was born to William (Bill) Thurgood, Sr and Letha Ray Thurgood on November 25, 1947. Andy loved all things history, to which he had an avid interest in the Civil War as well as sports, especially football and baseball. Before retiring, he owned a framing business called TC Whitley's.

Preceding him in death were his parents and sister Patricia Thurgood Honea.

He is survived by sons Jason Thurgood of Annandale, VA and Christopher Thurgood.
sister Tina (Thurgood) Gipson, brother in law Curtis Honea.
Nieces Heather Thurgood Wilmoth (Nathan and Haden) and Letha Honea DeMont (Thomas and Isabella).
