Vickie McCullough, 71, of Wesson, MS passed away on Monday, February 16,2026 at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS. She was born in Jayess, MS on December 31, 1954 to Howard Lambert and Blanche Louise Lambert.
She worked at Walmart Distribution Center for 18 ½ years, Potter Company in Wesson, MS for many years, and as a sitter and caregiver for several families. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Before her stroke and some other disastrous events, Mrs. Vickie enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Brett, and family. Her family brags on how good of a cook she was with wild game and fish that her husband and son provided. She was such a sweet and loving person with a heart of gold; she was a very hard worker and wanted to take care of everyone. After her stroke, her hobbies included spending time with Melinda, Fred, and pets, praying for people, watching television, and listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Louise Lambert; her son Fred Wayne McCullough; grandson Shannon "Brett" Foster; and brothers Jackie Lambert, Jimmy Lambert, and half- brother Bobby Dale Ruby.
Survivors are her husband, Fred McCullough; daughter Melinda McCullough Foster; and numerous other family members.
The family would like to offer a thank you to Danny and Rhonda Sisco for their friendship, support, and love they showed to Mrs. Vickie and her family. They would also like to thank Dr. Hankins, Dr. Whittington, and nurses Kala Britt Kelly and Brookley Allen for their patience and understanding in caring for Mrs. Vickie after her stroke and limited mobility.
