Graveside services for Mrs. Velma Erwin Stroud of Wesson, formerly of Greenville, MS will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Union Church Cemetery in Union Church MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Daniel Stroud; one granddaughter, Liane Germany; one grandson, James Darrin Stroud; sons-in-law, Keith Harvey and Grady Germany, Sr.; 4 brothers (one of which was her twin); and 4 sisters.

She was born on April 11, 1915 to T.J. and Letha Erwin of Jefferson County, MS. She is survived by one son, James Doyle Stroud and wife Faye of Wesson, daughters, Betty Germany of Wichita, Kansas and Shirley Harvey of Emmett, Idaho; 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. She was a loving person who loved serving her family, friends, and church, and most of all her God. She was especially devoted to her Sunday School Class and studying her Bible with friends.

Her family wishes to thank all the doctors, employees of Deaconess Home Health and Hospice for their dedication in caring for her.
