Tyler Russ Cothern, 15, of Brookhaven, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2024. Tyler was born on December 1, 2008 to Joey and Tinnie Cothern.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 with visitation from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm at East Lincoln Baptist Church in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Bro. David Browder will officiate with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Tyler had a passion for football. He enjoyed hanging out with his friend and brothers, Hunter and Jaden. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars with his dad.

Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jackie Cothern, Harlon Hall, Billy Ray, and Frankie Hall; Aunts: Shelia Prestridge and Stephanie Hall.

He is survived by his parents; brothers: Hunter Cothern (Jessie) and Jaden Cothern; his girlfriend, Gracie; friend, Mason; grandmother, Carol Cothern; uncles: Rusty Prestidge, Randy Cothern (Yo), Dewayne Hall; aunts: Marie Bond and Carrie McCraw (Wade), and a host of other family members and friends.
