Obituary

Funeral services for Timothy Wayne Smith will be on Friday, November 11, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Phil Turner and Bro. Keith Smith will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will also be on Friday at the same location on Natchez Drive from 10 AM until time of the service at 11 AM.

Mr. Smith, 56, passed from this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at Country Brook Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS with his loving family by his side. He was born on June 28, 1960 in Monticello, MS, to Helen Smith and A. J. "Pete" Smith, Jr. He enjoyed classic television shows, movies, comedy, music, and artwork. He was also a loving son and brother and friend to everyone he met.

Preceding him in death was his father, A. J. "Pete" Smith, Jr.

Survivors are his mother, Helen Smith Carter and step-father and best friend, Charles "Chuck" Carter of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Darrell Smith and wife Donna of McComb, MS; sister, Cathy Waldron of Madison, MS; nephew, Corey Smith of Philadelphia, PA; nieces, Lindsey and Kristi Waldron of Madison, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.
