Funeral services for Mr. Timmy Wayne Lea will be on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, Mississippi at 2:00 in the afternoon with Bro. Danny Sisco officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 12 o'clock noon until time of the service.

Mr. Lea, 53, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on December 19, 2023.  He  was born on October 10, 1970, in Houma, Louisiana, to William and Annette Lea. Timmy was an avid outdoorsman; he loved spending time shooting, hunting, fishing, and riding the creek with his children. He worked as a tug boat captain for Strategic Towing – a job that he took pride in doing for over 25 years; there he was known as "Cap'n T-Bone" and was a devoted brother to the men he worked with in the marine industry. Most of all, he was a devoted and loving father and husband.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his wife, Fran Lea; his siblings, Michael Lea, Randall Lea, and Karen "Kay" Lea.

Survivors include his children; Alex Lea (Lacie) of Wesson, Tiffany Lea (Clayton) of Brookhaven, Brittany Lea of Wesson, and Deanna Matherne (Justin) of Raceland, Louisiana. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and a host of extended family members and friends.
