Terry Ray
Moak
August 23, 1955 – February 28, 2025
Graveside services for Mr. Terry Ray Moak will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS at 2:00 PM. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
Terry Ray Moak, 69, was born August 23, 1955 in Baton Rouge, LA to Marva Rie Erwin and the late Jewel Evan Moak. Throughout his life, Terry worked as a cross-country truck driver, a very talented painting contractor and designer in Chattanooga, TN and a Bible colporteur for the sates of Mississippi and Louisiana. Among many meanings of the name "Terry," kindness, tender hearted and gift of God are a few that describe Terry. Terry was a loving son, brother and husband. Terry was the most loving and caring husband to Sacia Collette Moak, the love of his life and best friend. Terry loved his family and friends very much, but all else, he loved and cherished his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Whenever the opportunity arose, Terry shared his love for Jesus with others so they also could experience the love of The Savior. Terry attended the Brookhaven Seventh-Day-Adventist Church. On February 28, 2025, Terry went to sleep in Jesus Christ until his Lord and Savior returns and calls him forth from the grave to take him home to live with Him eternally in Heaven.
Preceding him in death was his father, Jewell Evan Moak.
Survivors are his wife and the love of his life of 40 years, Sacia Colette Moak of Bogue Chitto, MS; his sweet mother, Marva Rie Erwin of Bogue Chitto, MS; his loving brother, Mike Moak (Nancy) of Santa Rosa, CA; his sweet sister, JoAnn Reynolds (Kenny) of Ooltewah, TN; 6 nieces, 3 nephews and his fur babies, Miley, Taco, Gidgett, Laya, Toby, Jed, and Penny who miss him tremendously.
