Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Teddy Dale Martin will be on Monday, October 3, 2016, 2016, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Bro. David Boyd will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, October 3, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Mr. Martin, 58, passed from this life on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at his residence. He was born on January 15, 1958 in Brookhaven, MS, to H. B. Martin and Vera Mae Smith Martin. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Preceding him in death were his parents; son, Teddy Dale Martin, Jr.; daughter, Virginia Hope Bales; grandson, Allen Chandler Martin; and brothers, Gary Martin, Sr. and Richard Martin.

Survivors are his wife, Paulette Bales Martin of Brookhaven, MS; daughter, Paula Bergeron and husband James of Monticello, MS; son, Bradley Martin of Bogue Chitto, MS; grandchildren, Kami, Roy and Chelsey Dickerson, Clifton and Christopher Bergeron, Nicholas, Carey and Grant Martin, and Taylor Davis; sisters, Debbie Adams and husband Jesse and Sherry Adams of Bogue Chitto, MS; brothers Bruce Martin Sr. of Madison, MS and Johnny Martin Sr. of Carolton, GA; and a host of family and friends.
