Funeral services for Susan Russell Means will be on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Wellman Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in the Wellman Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Davis will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) on Friday, October 27, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Wellman Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Mrs. Susan, 62, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at St. Dominic's Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was born on February 22, 1955 in Houston, TX, to Huey P. Russell and Barbara Greer Russell. She loved growing flowers, cooking, and singing for the Lord Jesus. As a Hospice Nurse and Kidney Dialysis Specialist, she had a huge, compassionate heart for her patients, sharing the love of Jesus with them as she cared for their medical needs.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her sister, Donna Russell Cupit.

Survivors are her husband of 32 years, Ron Means; her brother, David P. Russell, Sr. and wife Anita; her sisters, Margaret Johnson and husband Danny, and Jane Loper and husband Dana; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
