Mr. Steven Alan Evans, 56, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at home with members of his loving family by his side.  He was born on April 25, 1964, in Marrero, LA, to Charles Albert Evans and Lillian Lorena Dyess Evans. He was of the Baptist faith, and worked for many years as a cashier at Bogue Chitto Truck Stop. Mr. Evans was Lt. Commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (Brookhaven Light Artillery # 235). He enjoyed history of any kind and spending time with his granddaughter. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents Charles Albert and "Tootsie" Evans.

Survivors are his children, Steven Alan Evans II, Shelby Anne Evans, Kelsie Reagan Evans, Kaleb Ryan Evans and Sawyer Reid Evans; sisters Tracy Evans Shockley and Beth Evans Tillman; brothers Charles Patrick Evans and Christopher Paul Evans;  grandchild Baleigh Brooke Kelly; and a host of family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hospice Ministries.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
