Funeral services for Steve Wayne Davis will be on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in the Rawls Cemetery. Bro. Carl Adamson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, August 5, 2021, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Brookhaven Funeral Home from 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM.

Mr. Davis, 73, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at KDMC with his wife by his side. He was born on December 15, 1947, in Brookhaven, MS, to Curtis Young Davis and Ruby Mae Durham Davis. He was a member of Northview Baptist Church. He worked for many years as a carpenter.  Steve enjoyed playing his guitar and singing in church and nursing homes. Steve and his brothers and sisters also got together and sang and played music with their families. was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Preceding him in death were his parents Curtis Young and Ruby Mae Davis and brother Sherman Wesley Davis.

Survivors are his wife Diana; children, Roy Davis, Tammy Dickerson (Darrel), and Joseph Davis (Lindsey); brothers, William Davis and Greg Davis; sisters Linda Blake and Loretta Davis; grandchildren, Kassi Dickerson, "Bubba" Roy Davis, Ruthie Davis, Josiah Davis, Cooper Davis, Tony Davis and Faith Dickerson; One great-grandchild Beau Davis; and a host of family and friends.
