Funeral services for Sherman Wesley Davis will be on Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery. Bro. Carl Adamson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Davis, 72, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Southwest Regional Medical Center.  He was born on March 21, 1949, in Brookhaven, MS, to Curtis and Ruby Davis. He was a member of Northview Baptist Church; worked for many years as a caretaker for the Carl Urban family; and enjoyed fishing and loved working with cars. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and son, Jamie Davis.

Survivors are his wife of 52 years, Stella Louise; daughter, Monica Kim Bales; son, Jason Glen Davis (April); brothers, Steve, William, and Greg Davis; sisters, Linda and Loretta Davis; grandchildren, Zachary Bales and Kaylee Mazeres; and a host of family and friends.
