Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Joyce Brister McGraw will be on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow in the Topisaw Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. David Moree will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, December 31, 2022, from 9:30 AM until 12:00 PM.

Mrs. McGraw, 91, of Ruth, MS, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was born on October 31, 1931 to Winton Brister and Texie Greer Brister. She was a graduate of Enterprise School and later retired from Lincoln County School System after twenty-four years of service as a cafeteria manager and a bus driver. She was a life-long member of Topisaw Baptist Church . Mrs. McGraw loved shopping at Belk, cooking for her family, sitting on her porch with her poodle Coco and being a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents Winton and Texie Brister; husband Charles McGraw; son Larry McGraw; daughter Judy Burns; grandson Kyle Burns and sister Inez Taylor.

Survivors include her daughter Missy Morgan (Stan) and son Joey McGraw; daughter-in-law Nicki McGraw; son-in-law Clyde Burns; sister Claudia Smith; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
