Mrs. Sammye Raye Letchworth, 72, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at her residence in Brookhaven with her loving family by her side. She was born on August 17, 1945 in Brookhaven, MS, to Frank A. and Athalee Sumrall Morgan. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren more than anything in life. Mrs. Letchworth was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and niece.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Maxie R. Letchworth.

Survivors are her daughter, Jody M. Letchworth of Brookhaven, MS; sons, Bryan L. Letchworth of Brookhaven, MS and Joshua R. Letchworth of Wesson, MS; aunt, Vivian Morgan; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
