Funeral services for Ruth Anne Lewis Foster will be on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Strong Hope Baptist Church in Wesson, MS at 3:00 PM, with burial to follow in the Strong Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Ray Barrett will be officiating the services, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Strong Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, December 17, 2016, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Mrs. Foster, 76, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst, MS. She was born on September 11, 1940 in Copiah County, MS, to Matt Lewis and Bessie Beeks Lewis. She was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church in Wesson, MS for over 40 years. She worked as a school secretary in the Hazlehurst School System for 27 years. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husbands Willard Foster and Clarence Foster; sisters, Nancy Beck and Mary Jo Rowell.
Survivors are her sons, Oscar Foster and wife Patty of Wesson, MS and Mike Foster; grandchildren, Wyatt Foster and Jessica Branch and husband Logan ; great grandchildren, Matt and Logan Branch; brother, Jim Lewis and wife Charlene of Cold Spring, TX; sister Melanie Brittingham and husband Tom of Valparaiso, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Larry Foster, John Foster, Matt Lewis, Terrell Lewis, Jim Beck, Dale Beck and Justin Foster.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Fred McDonnell, Dr. Preston McDonnell and Dr. Robert Watson of Hazlehurst, MS and to the nursing staff at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.
