Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie W. Owen will be on Monday, August 31, 2020, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 12:00 Noon with burial to follow in the Paxton Family Cemetery in the Loyd Star community. Bro. Allan Touchstone will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Monday, August 31, 2020, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Mr. Owen, 62, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.  He was born on June 28, 1958, in Independence, LA, to Robert L. Owen and Scarlett Louise "Frankie" Blades. He was a Christian. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Preceding him in death were his parents Robert Owen and Frankie Blades; sister Scarlett McClendon; brothers Jonathan R. McClendon and Robbie Owen.

Survivors are his wife, Jennifer Strait Owen; son, Ronnie Owen II; Daughter Tiffany Deal and Ashley Douglas; 3 grandchildren; brother Kenneth McClendon; sisters Joyce Cuevas, Elaine Creel and Connie Owen Ashmore; and a host of family and friends.
