Mr. Richard M. Dube, 69, of Wesson, MS, passed from this life on August 16, 2023, at his home.  He was born on June 6, 1954 in Wesson, MS, to R.G. and Joyce Freeman Dube. He was a member of Wesson Baptist Church and worked for many years as a sports journalist at the Daily Leader. Richard enjoyed walking and participating in 5K runs; he was also a computer and technology enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Keith Dube; and a nephew Eric Robinson.

Survivors include his sister, Debbie Sharpe of Vicksburg; an uncle, Dr. Robert Freeman; his nephew, Mark Andrew Robinson; and his niece, Holly Hadad.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.
