Becky Carr, 74, of Brookhaven, MS, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 19, 2025.

Ms. Carr was born in Silver Creek on January 25, 1951, the daughter of Wilbur Sr. and Thelma Hearne Butler.

Ms. Carr was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest son Bracey Durr Jr., and siblings Frank Butler, Roger Dale Butler, John Butler, Howard Butler Sr., and Nettie Dean Butler.

Survivors include her sons Bruce Durr, Billy Ray Durr of Brookhaven, and daughter Melinda Hamilton (Jarvis) of Carthage, Ms, as well as siblings Wilbur Butler Jr., and Diane Conn.

Ms. Carr has seven grandchildren Carrie Sue Durr, Kimberly Durr, Kayla Durr, Johathon Durr, Brittany Broome, Chris Hamilton (Jessy) and Lacey Hamilton Boles (Eli) and six great grandchildren Loralii Barrow, Bjorn Barrow, Jacob Wilt, Colby Broome, Champ Boles and Chapel Boles.

A private family graveside ceremony was held at Stephens Cemetery in Silver Creek, Ms.
