Obituary

Funeral services for Mr. Qunicy Lamar Hall will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Bethel Community Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Bethel Community Church Cemetery. Bro. David Fortenberry will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Bethel Community Church on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Hall, 68, Passed away on December 26, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was born on December 30, 1953 to the late Bennie Hall, Sr., and Louise Moak Hall. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his family and talking to anyone that would talk to him. He never met a stranger.

Preceding him in death were his parents Bennie and Louise Hall; father-in-law and mother-in-law Climon and Annie Rae Wallace; 8 brothers and 10 sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Alice Wallace Hall; sons James Hall and Wesley Hall (Melissa); daughter Kathy Langston (Shannon); 6 grandchildren, Ruth Vaughan, Miranda Thurman (Devon), Theresa Knight (Hunter), Jesse Hall (Lory), Josie Hall, and Rodney Langston; 7 great-grandchildren Blakley, Huntley and Raelynn Knight, Delta Matthews, Devan Thurman, Koltyn Hall and Holdyn Atwood; 5 sisters, Rita Hall, Essie McCae, Martha Avants, Tootie Mercier (James) and Hattie Morris; 2 brothers, John Hugh Mathis (Johanna) and Jimbo Hall (Deidra); and a host of nieces and nephews.
