Mrs. Peggy Sue Pepper, 69, of Brookhaven, MS, passed away on January 9, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on July 23, 1952, to Ervin and Loise Smith. She attended Loyd Star High School. In October of 1970 she married her high school sweetheart, Don Pepper. Peg loved to shop. Her favorite pastime was listening to old records and CDs. She was an active member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She loved her family. Being a mother and grandmother were her favorite titles.

Preceding her in death were her parents Ervin and Loise Smith; husband, Don Pepper; son Jody Pepper and her in-laws Marlon and Bonnie Pepper.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Amy Hall (David); grandchildren, Malori Bradley (Jake), Carley Loyd (Zach) and Travis Hall (Tabby); great-grandchildren, Rhett, Saylor and Ella Loyd; sister Lou Norton (Gary); brothers Tony Smith (Katherine), Les Smith (Diane); her best friend Becky Butler; her puppy Bella and a host of nieces and nephews.
