Funeral services for Mrs. Peggy Sue Nelson will be on Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Nations Family Cemetery in Lincoln County, MS. Rev. Eddie Myers will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, May 28, 2017, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Mrs. Nelson, 77, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 24, 1940 in Lawrence County, MS, to Sedgie and Fannie Stamps.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and brother, Jimmie Dale Stamps.
Survivors are her husband of 59 years, Robert Lee Nelson; son, Robert Dale Nelson; granddaughter, Christy Baker; and great grandchildren, Cody Baker, John Andrews, Katelyn Andrews, and Hailey Bowman; and a host of family and friends.
