Mrs. Peggy Marie Castilaw, 66, of Wesson, MS passed away on July 1st, 2026, at her residence. Peggy was born on February19, 1960 in Brookhaven, MS to Jeff Wilson and Chelcia Humphrey Soule’.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, hard worker, and strong willed. She loved deeply and always tried to help everyone the best that he could. Even though she only had two children, she had many others that she mothered as well, many calling her “Moma Peg.” She cherished time spent with her grandkids and family. She loved music, motorcycles, fishing, and swimming. She is greatly missed.

Mrs. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Jeff Wilson; mother Chelcia Soule’; nieces Samantha Wilson and Lauren Wilson; nephew Jamie Wilson, and great niece, Amber King.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Lonnie “Rex” Castilaw; Son Lowell Castilaw (Hayley), daughter Carthy McCaffery (Adam); granddaughters, Marley Castilaw, Gracie McCaffery; grandson, Sawyer McCaffery; sister Leanne Lofton; brothers, David “Bo” Wilson, Donald Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Joe Wilson (Carolyn); and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will have a memorial service to be held on a later date.
