Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Brister Posey will be on Monday, September 28, 2020, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in the Gum Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Todd Sumrall will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be on the same day at Brookhaven Funeral Home from 10 AM until time of the service at 12:00 PM.

Mrs. Posey, 79, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Haven Hall Nursing Home in Brookhaven, MS.  She was born on August 1, 1941, in Brookhaven, MS, to Ordway Nelson Brister and Wilma Grace Greer. She was a member of New Sight Baptist Church; worked for many years at Stahl Urban and retired from Sanderson Farms; and enjoyed gospel singing, cooking, and "The Price Is Right". She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Lamon "Skeet" Posey.

Survivors are her sons, Jerry J. Posey and wife Teresa and Jason E. Posey, both of Brookhaven, MS; grandchildren, Gracie Posey, Aubrey Chance, and Abigail Chance; and a host of family and friends.
