Obituary

Graveside services for Paul L. Harris will be on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery in Caseyville, MS, at 2:00 PM. Bro. Bendon Ginn will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Harris, 78, of Caseyville, MS, passed from this life on March 10, 2017, at his residence. He was born on February 4, 1939, in Calhoun City, MS, to Willie Floyd and Ella Maude Vanwinkle Harris. He served his country in the MS National Guard, and was a retired farmer.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Willie Floyd and Ella Maude Vanwinkle Harris; brothers-in-law, Robert Nevels and Dewitt Raiford; and sister-in-law, Willie Faye Harris.

Survivors are his sisters, Charlotte Lessing and husband Ken of Brookhaven, MS, Bobbye Nevels of Brookhaven, MS, and Betty J. Smith and husband Shelby of Brookhaven, MS; brothers, W. F. Harris, Jr. and wife Betty of Vidalia, LA, and James Harris of Harrisville, MS; 3 step-children; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
