Funeral services for Paul Ernest Barlow will be on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 3:00 PM with burial to follow in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery in Loyd Star, MS. Rev. Ben Barlow, great nephew of Mr. Barlow, will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, August 11, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Mr. Barlow, 90, of Natchez, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven with his loving family by his side. He was born on November 7, 1927 in Brookhaven, MS, to Boyce Barlow and Rosa Lee Newell Barlow. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He served on the Natchez Police Department from October 1965 until September 30, 1983 at which time he retired with the rank of Captain.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Reverend Roy Nelson Barlow; and his great-granddaughter, Jacquelyn Grace Knotts.

Survivors are his loving wife of 69 years, Annie Pearl Smith Barlow; daughters, Sandra Wigley and husband Mickey, Judy Thompson and husband Tommy, and Sherry Reagan and husband Lane; sons, Paul Wesley Barlow and Richard Wayne Barlow and wife Michele; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; his sister, Doris Smith and husband Alfred; his brother, Kenneth Marble and wife Tina; along with a host of family and friends.
