Funeral services for Mrs.  Patricia Meador will be on Saturday, September, 16, 2023, at Brookhaven Funeral Home at 12:00 PM with burial to follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (Brookhaven, MS). Rev. John Tullos will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 11:00 until time of services at noon.

Mrs. Patricia Meador, 71, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed away on September 14, 2023. She was born on June 17, 1952, in Jackson, MS, to E.C. Bass and Verna Bass. She was a member of Springridge United Methodist Church and worked for 30 years at Silver Cross Nursing Home. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and family, and will be dearly missed by each of them.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Tyler Neal Meador.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Neal Meador of Bogue Chitto; her daughter, Kim Thompson (Dale) of Brookhaven; granddaughters, Madison Thompson and Nealie Thompson; and one great-grandson, Braxton Neal Thompson. She also leaves behind her brother, Mike Bass (Melanie), and a sister, Lynn Bass, along with extended family and friends.
