Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Hennis Didon will be on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2 PM with burial to follow in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County, MS. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be on the same day at the same location from 11 AM until time of the service at 2 PM.

Mrs. Didon, 74, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 15, 1943 in Forest County, MS, to James R. Hennis and Annie Drucella Strickland Hennis. She enjoyed square dancing, clogging, and playing bingo. Mrs. Didon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Lena Bowers and Mary Eva Jenkins; and brothers, Oscar Ray Hennis, James William Hennis, Bobby Lewis Hennis, and Jerry Allen Hennis.

Survivors are her husband, Bobby Didon; sons, Michael A. Murphy and wife Carla and Howard Holmes and wife Rhonda; step-son, Jeff Didon; daughter, Nora Ann Price; step-daughter, Amy Tullos; sisters, Carol Annette Johnson and Patricia Culpepper; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
