Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Rushing White will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS. Bro. Ronnie Robinson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, May 27, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. White, 92, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on February 8, 1925 in Franklin County, MS, to Jack and Eula Smith Rushing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her Church. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a wonderful loving friend and made everyone feel as though they were special.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Chester R.F. White; her parents; 7 sisters; 4 brothers; and 2 grandchildren.

Survivors are her children, Carolyn Barnes of Brandon, MS, Wayne White and wife Melanie of Nolensville, TN, Mary Johnston of Jackson, MS, Troy White and wife Kathy of Lake Placid, FL; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
