Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtis Virginia Greer White will be on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at Wellman Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS, at 11 AM, with burial to follow in the Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Jeff Davis will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will also be at Wellman Baptist Church on the same day from 9 AM until time of the service at 11 AM.

Mrs. White, 78, passed from this life on Friday, September 9, 2016, at her residence in Brookhaven, MS, with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1937, in Lincoln County, MS, to Seth and Nannie Bell Greer. After graduation from Enterprise High School in Brookhaven, MS, she worked as a telephone operator and garment inspector and later operated a dairy farm with her husband for over 40 years. The Albert White farm was voted 1993 Farm Family of the Year by the Brookhaven Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce. She was also a very active member of Wellman Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Albert Wayne White; son, Wayne White; sister, Mary Lou Rushing; and brother, Frank Greer.

Survivors are her sons, Shane White and "special adopted daughter" Kim Richardson of Brookhaven, MS and Darryl White of Baton Rouge, LA; grandsons, Darren White and Trent White; and a host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Mrs. White to Wellman Baptist Church.
