Graveside services for Mrs. Myra Faye Dickey will be on Monday, May 22, 2017, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS at 11 AM, with Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS in charge of the service.

Mrs. Dickey, 97, of Memphis, TN, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. She was born on May 2, 1920 in Purvis, MS, to Jesse Turner and Bama Odessa Ellison. She enjoyed sewing, singing, and serving her church, where she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church for 70 years. Mrs. Dickey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; beloved husband, Robert L. Dickey; and siblings, Lowell Ellison, Mildred Jones, Leitha Kerley, and Geneva Townsend.

Survivors are her daughters, Cathy Dickey and Janet Haas and husband John, both of Memphis, TN, Jeanine Smith and husband Wallace of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Louella Gravatt of Horn Lake, MS; son, Milton Dickey and wife Kathy of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Kimberly Sartain and husband Jason, Elizabeth Burke and husband Jacob, Joseph Haas, Joshua Smith and wife Whiley, Alicia Gaston and husband John, Rachel Conner and husband Drew, Elaine Browning and husband Jacob, Jennifer Haas, and Jeff Fowler; great grandchildren, Cade and Ashlyn Sartain, Anneliese and Roland Conner, Stone Gaston, and Helen Burke; brother, Jesse Ellison, Jr. and wife Betty; and many nieces and nephews.
