Milton "Tinker" Leroy Tibbs passed from this life on January 10, 2024 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born on June 6, 1959 in Natchez, MS to Milton Tibbs and Virgie Sue Oliver Tibbs. He attended the Brookhaven Public Schools and worked for the City of Brookhaven as a heavy machine operator.

"Tinker" never met a stranger. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music, playing pod and talking on his C.B. radio, where he was known as Sky Scraper.

Proceeding him in death are his parents, Milton and Virgie Tibbs; his in-laws; brother Anthony "Tony" Tibbs; and brother-in-law Gerald Smith.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Margaret "Maggy" Tibbs; sisters Patricia "Pat" Stroud, Sandra Covington and Betty Tibbs. He also leaves behind his loving kids, Milton "Noonie" Tibbs, Jr. (Kristina), Calvin "Cole" Tibbs (Destiny), Becky Tibbs, Brittany Bessonette, Rachel Simmons (Bubbie), Bobby Lewis, Jenna Hoover (Rannon), Robyn Morehead (Dylan) and Annah and Star Lewis and his grandchildren and many other loved family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held at New Prospect Baptist Church on Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 2:00 PM till 4 PM.
