Michelle Lynn Malone King died October 22, 2026, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond, LA.

She was born April 22, 1967, in Hazlehurst, MS to the late Marion Alfred Malone and Melba Jean Runnels Malone.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Derek John King; a son, Nicholas John King; and one sister Melanie Hazelett.

Michelle is survived by her son, Zachary James King of Brookhaven; two grandsons, Mason and Everett King; one brother, Eric Malone (Jackie) of Brookhaven, two sisters, Marsha Getz (Terry) of Tennessee, Milly Case (Mitchell) of Brookhaven; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her partner, Douglas Muller of Tickfaw, LA and many friends from the Tickfaw area.

There will be a family memorial service on a later date.
