Funeral services for Mrs. Mattaleen Crosby Moak will be held at Calvary Baptist Church (Bogue Chitto, MS) at 10 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, November 22, 2025; visitation will be held at the church on Friday evening from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock, and will resume on Saturday morning from 9 o'clock until time of services. Graveside services will follow the funeral in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Bruce Crosby will officiate, assisted by Bro. Eric Moak. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Moak, 88, of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, passed away on November 20, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Lincoln County on August 11, 1937 to John and Aline Robinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; by her husbands, John Wesley Crosby and J.P. Moak; one brother, Johnie Robinson; and one sister, Mary Laird.

Survivors include her children, Diane Anding (Gene), Jean Moak (Earl), Bruce Crosby (Kathy), and Tracy Roberts (Robbie); 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; as well as a brother, Robert Robinson; and a sister, Margie Wallace; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
