Funeral services for Mary Frances Smith will be on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 2:00 PM with burial to follow in the Damascus Cemetery. Bro. Leland Smith will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Mrs. Smith, 84, of McCall Creek, MS, passed from this life on Friday, May 13, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on January 28, 1938, in Franklin County, MS, to Lloyd and Mildred Martin. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church; worked for many years as a homemaker; and enjoyed crocheting.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, Robert Martin; son, Ernie Smith; and grandson, Corbitte Smith.

Survivors are her husband of 58 years, Carrol Smith; 2 daughters, Wendy Hall (Darryl) and Cindy Smith (Brian Barnett); 2 sons, Jeff Smith and Raymond Smith (Rena); 2 sisters, Juanita Kimble and Patsy Case; 7 grandchildren, Jessie Aldridge, Dallas Aldridge, Katelynne Ferguson, Michael Littlejohn, Scott Ferguson, Cheyene Dickerson, and Jessica Smith; 5 great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Kyleigh, Noah, Kinley, and Josiah; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Michael Littlejohn, Scott Ferguson, Dusty Case, Greg Case, Pat Case, and Anthony Steele. Honorary pallbearers are Raymond Smith, Jeff Smith, Darryl Hall, and Brian Barnett.
