Graveside services for Mrs. Mary E. Blackwell Parker will be held at Enon Cemetery, Jayess, on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 12 o'clock noon; the family will receive visitors at Brookhaven Funeral Home from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM on the same day. Bro. Bren Smith will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mary Ella Blackwell Parker, 73, of Jayess, passed from this life on August 12, 2024 at her home. She was born on August 15, 1950 to Henry and Eunice Nell Blackwell. Mary was a retired personal caregiver; she loved crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Woodrow C. Parker; a brother, Donnie Delane Blackwell; a granddaughter, Jene' Wempren; a great-grandson, Memphis Pippins; and a brother-in-law, Mac Parker.
Survivors include her children, Eunice "Pudin" Pippins (George) of Jayess, Cecil Parker (Jennifer) of Foxworth; a sister, Rose Parker of Winnsboro, LA; two grandsons, Cody Pippins (Kayla) of Brookhaven and Jessie Pippins (Donna) of Jayess; four granddaughters, Tess Meadows of Oklahoma City, OK, Arleigh Pippins of Jayess, Kayleigh and Kassidy Parkers of Foxworth; five great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; and one expected great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind a special nephew, Jordan Parker (Mary Kate) of Winnsboro, LA; a great-nephew Josiah Parker of Winnsboro, LA; an adopted son, Thomas Vincent of Monticello; and a good friend, Karen Cauvillion of Monticello, MS.
