Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Easley Britt will be on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at New Prospect Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the New Prospect Cemetery. Bro. Willie Welch will officiate the service with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and at New Prospect Baptist Church on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:00AM.

Mrs. Britt, 87, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Monday, September 23, 2019, at King's Daughter's Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 12, 1931, to Levi Cade Easley and Elizabeth Smith Easley. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church; worked for many years as a seamstress at Kellwood Garment Factory; and enjoyed crocheting and reading her Bible. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 36 years, Roy O. Britt; her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors are her children, Margaret Keeton, Beverly Smith and Dennis Britt and wife Deborah; 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Hettie Creech and Annie Tisdale; and a host of family and friends.
