Visitation for Margaret Lanora "Patsy" Roberts will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, the 25th of September 2022 from 5-9pm and resuming Monday, the 26th of September 2022 from 1-2pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, the 26th of September 2022 at 2pm. Bro. Hal Hatten and Bro. Jacob Glaz will be officiating the services.

Margaret Lanora "Patsy" Roberts, 79, a lifelong resident of Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on the 23 ^rd of September 2022.

Patsy was born in Lincoln County, Mississippi on January 20, 1943, to Cullen Clifton Crosby and Julia Mae Smith Crosby. She was a graduate of Bogue Chitto High School. She married her beloved husband, William Daniel "Danny" Roberts on June 30, 1961. Together they had two children, son, William David Roberts, and daughter, Shelley Suzanne Roberts Ingle. Their sixty-one-year marriage was a loving example for their children and grandchildren whom she loved beyond measure.

Patsy worked at Kellwood Manufacturing Company as an inspector until 1975 when she went to work in the office for her husband's appliance repair business. Years later, they purchased a building in Summit, Mississippi, where they opened a business, Roberts Appliance and Service, selling GE appliances along with the appliance repair service. In 1988 they added Roberts Discount Outlet to their venture which sold fabric, quilting supplies, bedding, draperies, and provided custom sewing. She retired in 2000.

Patsy's greatest joy was being Nanna to her grandchildren. Without fail, she attended every event they were involved in, and she would always have plenty of food ready for them and all their friends every day after school. They each knew if Momma, Daddy or Papaw said "No," just go to Nanna. There was not anything she would not do for them. She loved them with every fiber of her being.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was predeceased by brothers Donald Pat Crosby and Garland Acy Crosby, and sisters, Ouida Crosby Strait and Barbara Jean Crosby Leggett Moak; and brothers-in-law Bennett Leggett, Russell Moak and Floyd Marley Grice.

She is survived by her loving husband, Danny Roberts, children, David Roberts (Pam) and Shelley Roberts Ingle (Michael), grandsons Cameron Blaine Roberts (Gabby), Nicholas Brice Roberts (Destiny) and Michael Brooks Ingle; grandchildren Reid Smith (Caitlin) and Brooklyn Lampton; great-granddaughter Kamrynn Elizabeth Roberts; great granddaughter Harbor Reese Smith, and great-grandsons Beckham Reid Smith and Ledger Rhodes Smith; her brother Clifton Cullen Crosby (Delores Lofton Crosby) and her sister Shirley Ann Crosby Grice. The family she leaves will miss her terribly as well as a host of nieces and nephews for whom she was known as Aunt Pat that she loved as her own. Her presence will also be missed by her church family where she led a life of service in any way she could.

Honoring her one last time are her nephews, Randall Leggett, Anthony Leggett, Derek Crosby, Don Crosby, Steve Crosby and Brad Crosby.
