Memorial services for Ms. Marcia Renea Chinn will be held at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 12 o'clock noon; the family will receive visitors at the funeral home the same morning from 10:00 AM until service time. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.

Ms. Chinn, 48, of Wesson, Mississippi passed away on July 30, 2025 at her home. She was born in Hazlehurst, Mississippi on April 21, 1977 to Samuel and Patsy Martin Chinn.

Marcia loved people and never met a stranger; she had many friends and was a good friend to them all – always faithful to stay in touch and check on everyone. She was always the life of the party and the light in the room. She was an avid reader, loved WWE wrestling, NASCAR, and MSU, but most of all she loved her family, especially her grandbaby. She is loved and missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Haleigh Chinn (Taylor) of Wesson; a grandson, Hatcher Atticus Chinn; two sisters, Sherry Soto (David) of Brandon  and Becky Brown (Shane) of Wesson; a nephew, Justin Brown (Brittany); two nieces Nikki Rushing (Michael) and Hanna Hall (Patrick); ten great-nieces and nephews; along with a host of extended family and friends.
