Lula Yvonne Herring, age 87, of Brookhaven, Mississippi passed away on November 7, 2024. She was born in Lincoln County, MS on May 10, 1937 to Thomas Winborne and Frances Allen Winborne.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Vernon Herring; son Michael Herring; daughter, Theresa Herring Cooper; grandson, Justin Barksdale; 9 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cheryl Herring Aucoin (Troy), Brenda Herring Watts (Chance); grandchildren, Robby, Chris, Michael, Cala, Ashley, Robbye, Lauren, Chase, Josh; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Sunday, November 10, 2024 beginning at 3:30 to 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service at Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS on Monday 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The service will be officiated by Dr. Hal Kitchings and Bro. Phil Turner.
