Funeral services for Mrs. Lucky Maxwell Sellers will be on April 19, 2021, at Brookhaven Funeral Home (894 Natchez Drive) in Brookhaven, MS, at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be  Sunday April 18, 2021, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Mrs. Lucky Maxwell Sellers, 78, went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 16, 2021. She was surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. She was born on January 16, 1943 to Willie Richard Maxwell Sr. and Ethel Wooley Maxwell. Mrs Sellers was such a kind and dear person who strived to help anyone she could.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 47 years, Warren J. "Sonny" Sellers; her parents; brothers, Dr. Willie R Maxell Jr., TC Maxwell, and Preston Maxwell; and sisters, Bea Maxwell Price, Marie Maxwell Bardwell, Nell Maxwell, and Jewel Maxwell.

She is survived by daughters, Jackie Melton of Clinton, Sandy McKee of Brookhaven; sons, Dacey Sellers (Sherry) of Brookhaven, and Barry Sellers (Sherry) of Bogue Chitto, grandchildren, whom adored her, Trista Melton, Treasure Melton, David Munoz, Arron Sellers (Whitney), Amber Sellers, Megan Bidwell, Chelsey McWhorter (Roy), and Christopher Johnson (Kayla); 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-Love, Lois Maxwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special friends were Garland Neal and Mervin Partin.  Also left to mourn her passing were her fur babies, Bell, Ruby, Coco, and Lucky.

Pallbearers are Arron Sellers, Joel Melton, Christopher Johnson, Roy McWhorter, Jimmy Ainsworth, and Joe Honea.
