Obituary

Funeral services for Louise Nations McBride will be on October 9, 2022, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in Brookhaven, MS., with visitation at 1:00 P.M. and grave side services following at 2:00 P.M. at Rosehill Cemetery. Bro. David Easley Jr.  will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Louise Nations McBride of Brookhaven, MS. passed from this life on October 6, 2022, at BeeHive Homes with loving family members and caring BeeHive staff at her side. She was born on January 16, 1926, in Brookhaven, MS. To Fred and Leontine Nations. She was a member of First Baptist Church Brookhaven and served in various roles in her 40+ years at First Baptist. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred Nations and Leontine Boone Nations; her husband L.J. McBride Jr.; her grandchildren Steven Matthew McBride, Scott Dowdell Easley, and Gregory John Easley; and brothers Natlye E. Nations Charles J. Nations (Eloise), Jerry K. Nations, and sister-in-law Dean B. Nations

Survivors are her son Steve McBride (Melinda), daughter Marilyn Easley (David), brother Donald F. Nations, grandchildren, Marcus McBride, Kimberly McBride Goza (Ben), Amanda Easley Criss (Jody), Ellen Easley Wallace (Ryan), David Easley Jr. (Taylor), Sarah Easley Vaughan (Paul), Adam Easley (Shana), great- grandchildren Jase McBride, Lleyton Goza, Beckett Goza, Lynley Goza, Graham Goza, Jonathan Criss, Nora Jane Criss, Liam Wallace, Chloe Wallace, Merrick Wallace,  Lily Grace Easley, David Easley III, Emmalyn Easley, Caelyn Vaughn, Shay Vaughn, Kylie Joy Vaughn, and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Marcus McBride, Adam Easley, Ben Goza, Jody Criss, Ryan Wallace, and Paul Vaughn.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Brady Wilson and her entire staff at BeeHive Homes for the loving care that was shown to Lou Lou, as they called her, during her time at the BeeHive, and to Enhabit Hospice and their staff Kim, Tracy, and all the aids , nurses, social worker, and chaplain that cared, treated, and loved on our love one.
