Graveside services for Mrs. Louise Smith Lynn will be on Saturday, March 28 , 2020, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS, at 1:00 PM. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lynn, 95, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 24 , 2020, at King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 5 , 1924, in Lincoln County, MS, to Henry T. Smith and Hattie Mae Durr Smith. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Lynn was a retired business owner of various shoe stores. She loved working in her yard with her flowers and taking walks outside. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Hattie Mae Smith; brothers John B. Smith and Virgil T. Smith; sisters Samantha (Manthie) Smith, Ada Smith, Ruby Case, Radie Smith, Alice Warren, Gladys Stone, Inez Dixon, and Lois Davis.

Survivors are her husband Ronnie J. Lynn; daughter, Vicki Vaughn; grandchildren, Jason Vaughn with wife Karla and Veronica Vaughn McNew with husband Trigg; great-grandchildren, Morgan O'Brien and Lane O'Brien; great-great grandchild Luxyn O'Brien; and a host of family and friends.

The family also plans to hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date due to the current pandemic. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Verlene's Playground at Macedonia Baptist Church.
