Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Maxwell Farr will be on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Fair River Baptist Church in Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Bro. Jay Anderson will be officiating the services with Brookhaven Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2017, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, April 1, at 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Mrs. Farr, 89, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born on June 4, 1927 in Brookhaven, MS, to Hiram Maxwell and Myrtis Rollins Maxwell. She was a retired Registered Nurse and enjoyed gardening, cooking, ceramics, and loved her Church family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Clement A. (C.A.) Farr; her parents; her sisters, Effie Jean Grenn and Mary M. Brown; and brothers, Delmar McClendon, Billy McClendon, and Jack McClendon.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Campbell and husband Mike; sons, Russ Farr, Murray Farr and wife Paula; her grandchildren, Joseph Farr and wife Rachele; Matthew Farr and wife Natalie, Timothy Farr and wife Lorelei, and Elizabeth Campbell, and Emily Campbell; her great grandchildren, John Paul Farr, Carly Beth Farr, Abigail Farr, Maileigh Farr, and Cooper Farr; and a host of family and friends.
