Graveside services for Mrs. Loise Mae Smith will be on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Nathan Case will officiate the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 8:30 AM until 10:00 AM.

Mrs. Smith, 91, of Brookhaven, MS, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at home with her loving family by her side.  She was born on July 1, 1929, in Brookhaven, MS, to Wiley Case and Alma Anding Case. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church; she was a homemaker; and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Ervin Smith; her son-in-law, Don Pepper; and brothers, Clinton Case, Cleveland Case, Earl Case, Robert Case, J.W. Case, and Bennon Case; her sisters, Carrie Bell Case, Mary Lou Smith, and  Elsie Covington.

Survivors are her children, Les Smith and wife Diane, Lou Norton and husband Gary, Peggy Pepper, and Tony Smith and wife Katherine; her brother, Alton Case and wife Minnie; her grandchildren, Dean, David, and Dewayne Smith, Gary Wayne, Shane, and Jeremy Norton, Amy Hall, Jody Pepper, Rebecca Byrd, and Justin Smith;  she also had 23 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
