Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Gale Smith will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Brookhaven Funeral Home in (894 Natchez Drive) Brookhaven, MS at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in the Bogue Chitto Cemetery in Bogue Chitto, MS. Bro. Ronny Robinson will be officiating the services. Visitation will be at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 21, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Mrs. Smith, 79, of Bogue Chitto, MS, passed from this life on Monday, November 19, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 13, 1939 in Lincoln County, MS, to John William Hedglin and Thelma Summers Hedglin. She enjoyed spending time with family and was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Those left to cherish her memories are her husband of 51 years, Bobby Smith; her daughter, Nancy Allice Cantrelle; her granddaughter, Chloe Elizabeth Cantrelle; her brother, Carl Hedglin and wife Margaret Hedglin; and a host of family and friends.
